4. Discussion of how the concept of professionalism and dual professionalism impact your role, including the impact of professional values on your role.

Task 2 - You are required to write an essay to cover a range of internal and external factors that influence your role and responsibilities. The essay must be broken down into the following sections:

1. Explain key aspects of legislation, government policies, regulatory requirements, codes of practice and organisational policies relating to your role and responsibilities, including your inclusive practice.

2. Discuss how legislation, government policies, regulatory requirements, codes of practice influence policies relating to inclusive practice in your organisation? Extend the discussion to discuss the impact on your own inclusive practice.

3. Review how the above requirements influence development and use of resources. Include the impact of intellectual property rights and copyright in your analysis.

4. Analyse the impact of organisational requirements and expectations on curriculum and practice.

5. Explain the role of stakeholders, including employers and external bodies, in education and training. Why is it important to work in partnership with these stakeholders?

6. Explain how being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies impacts on organisations in education and training?

7. Analyse the impact of being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies on curriculum design, delivery and assessment?

Task 3 - You are required to write an essay on how you work with other professionals as a teacher/trainer. The essay must be broken down into the following sections:

1. Analyse the relationships and boundaries between your teaching role and other professional roles, including professionals interested in inclusive needs of the learners.

2. Review strategies for effective liaison with professionals involved in inclusive practice.

3. Describe points of referral to meet the individual needs of learners.

4. How do you liaise with others within your specialist area to develop own practice? Review how it has impacted your ability to fulfil your role.
