Teamworking in Practice
ACTIVITY 1: Write up your team's 'charter' or work agreement, summarising the collective do's and don'ts on a single sheet of A4 and have everyone sign it off.
ACTIVITY 2: Consider the roles team members will need to assume to ensure the team functions effectively. Reflect back on your 'preferred Team Roles' and your 'manageable roles'. Download Belbin Team Roles Circle and label everyone's preferred and manageable roles onto the circle. Consider the gaps/overlaps? Reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of the team. Keep a copy of the completed form as you may want to reflect on it in your reflective report.
ACTIVITY 3: Develop a PowerPoint presentation covering the following areas:
Team Charter
Agreed Roles
Contact Details
The presentation should be approximately 5-10mins long and have all team members talking/presenting.
