Undertake research into theories, principles and models of communication in education and training that can be related to your area of practice, learners and subject. Use this research to produce an essay to cover the following on ways in which theories and principles of communication can be applied to learning and teaching.

Analyse at least two theories, principles or models of communication and explain ways in which they can be applied to teaching, learning and assessment. Provide examples of different situations including 1:1 communications and group communications where communications have had a clear impact on teaching and learning or where the impact was negative but where you learnt from the situation. Discuss the effectiveness of your application of theories and principles of learning and communication, as well as your strengths and areas for improvement. (2.1, 2.2)
