Presentation

This component is an individual presentation which you will complete near the end of the module. It forms 50% of the overall mark for the module.

Your presentation should be 15 min in length. It is important not to exceed the allowable 15 minutes. There will be a 5 min question session following the presentation.

You may choose one of the themes from the list below to form your presentation. Each theme is closely related to the Key Issues in Social Policy module and the weekly teaching sessions. The themes are varied allowing you to choose one area that is of particular interest to you. An alternative theme can be discussed and agreed with your tutor.

Your presentation needs to critically examine these themes - looking at how the theme has been critiqued by scholars and other participants within the social policy field.
