Assignment Brief
The assessment brief must be discussed during an in-class session with students within the first 2 weeks of the unit and be accompanied by a screen/podcast on the BREO shell explaining the assessment, the rubric and marking criteria.
Section 1 - Issue Analysis
Background:
In this section of the assignment, you will explore a real and current issue within an organization, preferably your own workplace or a well-researched organization (this will have been approved in the agreed draft for IMP1).
Task:
Identify a current or impending issue within the chosen organization that offers multiple and varied approaches to resolution.
Conduct a detailed analysis of the issue.
Integrate relevant theories and techniques from multiple disciplines studied during your MBA program to propose appropriate solutions.
Provide a comprehensive report that presents your findings, analysis, and proposed solutions.
Section 2 - Critical evaluation and justification of selected concepts and theories for completion of your investigation
Background:
In this section, you will critically evaluate the concepts and theories used in Section 1.
Task:
Critically evaluate and discuss the concepts and theories used in Section 1 of your report.
Justify your selection of these concepts by referencing relevant literature, highlighting debates and discussions surrounding these concepts.
Demonstrate a clear and logical connection between the concepts you employed and the issues identified in your chosen organization.
Provide a comprehensive critical review of the literature that justifies your selection of concepts.

Section 3 - Reflective Report (2000 words)
Background:
This reflective report provides you with an opportunity to assess your own capabilities in managing the process of applying knowledge to produce the project. It also allows you to reflect on your personal development as a practitioner and identify areas for future growth.
Task:
• Reflect on your experience in managing the project, including the challenges and successes encountered.
• Evaluate your capabilities in applying knowledge and skills gained during the development and production of the project.
• Reflect on your personal and professional development as a practitioner based on your experiences and learning during the project.
• Identify specific areas for future development and improvement.
