Task 1 - genre analysis
Apply Swales (1990) to conduct genre analysis of texts A and B:
- Purpose
- Name of genre
- Stages
- Discourse community group(s)
Task 2 - register analysis
Compare the following texts in terms of:
- field
- tenor
- mode
Task 3 - think about the assignment
