Assessment Task
You will prepare an individual reflective presentation that illustrates your learning and development on this module through a discussion around your living CV, LinkedIn profile and drivers for your future career aspirations.

You should develop your critical reflection in your discussion by selecting key moments that best illustrate the whole learning experience, and how it will be applied in the future.

You will draw on a range of activities completed throughout this module which will form part of your portfolio of evidence and that are designed to help you
• develop resilience through self-reflection and self-awareness
• use reflective models and keep a reflective learning journal
• identify personal strengths and set SMART goals
• learn how to respond positively and constructively to feedback from peers and tutors
• begin to develop critical analysis and evaluation skills
• develop employability skills through CV preparation and LinkedIn profile
• Develop a range of academic skills required for further study including research, referencing, written communication and presentations

Your presentation will be in the form of a pre-recorded video using Panopto software, supported by your portfolio of evidence. You will submit your 10-min presentation recording to the Panopto assignments folder of this module and should submit your portfolio of evidence to the assessment submission link under the assessment tab of this module on SOL.

• Develop your skills of critical reflection as you evaluate your personal development on this module
• Draw information from a wide range of relevant academic sources

You will also complete formative assessment tasks which do not count towards your grade. They are designed to help you to learn and will assist you towards completion of the summative assessment and therefore taking advantage of these opportunities will greatly improve your chances of achieving a higher grade on your work. There are 2 formative tasks:

Formative 1: You will write a short academic paragraph (approx 250-300 words) as an opportunity to demonstrate skills in research, paraphrasing and referencing. You will receive formative feedback on these essential academic skills during your timetabled sessions. You should reflect upon them and put them into action across all modules.

Formative 2: You will prepare a 'living CV' that showcases your skills, ability and experience to a future employer and that is tailored to a career you are interested in. You will reflect on the formative feedback given and make all the necessary changes before you include the reviewed version of your Living CV in your portfolio of evidence.

You will complete a range of activities during the lectures and seminars which are also designed to help you learn and assist you towards completion of the summative assessment, therefore, attendance and engagement will also improve your chances of getting a higher grade.

You are expected to record your engagement with the activities in this module in your weekly reflective Log, which should be submitted as part of your portfolio of evidence.
