MP3704 Maintenance Management - The University of Central Lancashire
Question: A typical-size factory produces automotive spare parts mainly via metal machining including but not limited to: Casting, forging, forming as well as machining operations like turning, milling, lathing, drilling etc. the company also has treatment furnaces and coating stations.
Currently it is running on a run to brake (operate to failure) policy which is obviously causing and endless list of inconveniences which will eventually lead to bankruptcy.
You are appointed as a maintenance manager, and you are asked to put a system in place in order to save the company.
