Multimedia Librarianship
Brief Course Description:
The course introduces learners to the techniques of managing information materials in different forms other than paper.
Course Objective:
The course is designed to enable learners acquire knowledge and skills in the management of information resources in multimedia.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course, learners should be able to:
1. Identify, select, describe and use the different types of multimedia resources in information institutions.
2. Develop multimedia collections
3. Develop strategies for managing different forms of multimedia information materials
4. Design library multimedia systems
