ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
There has been a shift in the way we work with people who need safeguarding support. A person centred and outcome focused approach has been introduced, this is informed by research, disability rights campaigns and the Care Act 2014.
Conduct a review of the following three safeguarding interventions: Making Safeguarding Personal, Family Group Conferences and Positive Risk Taking.
These three interventions all seek to empower, analyse why empowerment is so important for these groups or people.

ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
This assignment requires you to write an essay on the safeguarding measures that were introduced following on from the Public Inquiry which was led by Robert Francis QC, into Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. (The Francis Inquiry began in 2010)
Analyse why the abuse in Mid Staffordshire Hospitals happened. Evaluate and apply the safeguarding legislation and the safeguarding guidelines that have been put in place to prevent a similar tragedy happening.
Ensure you analyse the types of abuse that were experienced and the impact of this abuse on individuals, groups and society.
