Report 1: Turbulent and Inviscid Flow over a Semi-Ellipse A. Method
Al Geometry & Boundary Conditions
In box A1.1 describe the features of your geometry and boundary conditions, including any calculations/justifications that you may have made. You can include equations in this box. Include one relevant image of your domain in box A1.2 by clicking on the link in the centre. You are free to resize the image, within the box. Include a figure caption in the bottom box.
A2 Mesh Design
In box A2.1 describe the features of your mesh including the rationale for its design. Include a figure of the mesh structure in box A2.2 by clicking on the link in the centre. The figure can be made up of multiple images, but they must be imported in one file. Include a figure caption in the bottom box.
A3 Solver Settings
In box A3.1 describe the solver settings you have used, including the turbulence model (if applicable), discretisation schemes and any other relevant settings. Your choices should be justified.
B1 Results
In boxes B1.1 to B1.4 show your results using qualitative and quantitative methods. Be sure to follow the instructions in the assignment for any specific requirements. You can Insert a single image file into boxes B1.1 to B1.4. A small text box is provided below each result box which you should use to very briefly describe what is shown.
C1 Analysis and Observations
In box C1.1 explain, using bullet points, up to 10 key observations from the analysis of the results you have presented in section B as well as the CFD approach itself. You can refer to figures presented in other sections but you cannot insert figures here. Each point should be justified with evidence. This is where you explain what was described in the results section with relevant insights.
