Presentation Task

You are required to develop and suggest an appropriate business strategy for the next 3 years for your allocated organisation. In so doing you should address the following issues:

Part 1. Description of current vision, mission and objectives
Part 2. Analysis of macro environment within which the firm operates
Part 3. Outline and critically assess the organisations business model
Part 4. Analysis of the organisation's resources and capabilities
Part 5. From this information present a shared team view whether competitive advantage and value can be maintained and whether a new strategy is required.

You are encouraged to use a variety of strategy tools and examples. You should read around the case study extensively using a variety of appropriate academic materials.

Referencing

Harvard referencing of all sources should be included at the end of your presentation pack. Authors mentioned during the presentation should be in-text cited correctly. You can identify your own contribution to the presentation in Red if you wish your own work to be noted separately.

Presentations will be videoed for second marking and external examiner verification.

Group Presentation: Brief
• As a group you should select a team leader for organising purposes.
• The team leader should appropriately delegate tasks to each member of the team.
• As a guide you should meet at least 5- 6 times as a team in order to plan and present this presentation.
• The team member should keep a record (reflective diary) of all meetings with the team.
• All the members of the team must equally contribute towards the presentation.
• Team leader will be responsible for reporting about the inactive members of the team to the seminar tutor.
• Up to 70% of the marks will be deducted for not actively participating within your team.
• Your presentation should last no longer than twenty-five / thirty minutes.
• Each student should deliver an aspect of the presentation.
• You will be assessed according to your ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of the key issues, to express and illustrate your opinions in a clear and coherent manner and to communicate both these aspects effectively to the audience (fellow students).
• It is recommended that you use some form of visual aid, PowerPoint slides, handouts etc., to support your oral delivery.
• Audio-visual equipment will be available for you to use - please make sure that your presentation is loaded and working properly before the start of your presentation.
