Assignment task
In this assignment, you will undertake a group project and deliver a 15-minute group presentation on the subject of how to be an effective student using PowerPoint or equivalent and delivered live on-campus.
Each team member will be expected to develop and present an equal share of the materials (15 minutes divided by the number of team members).
You will be expected to devote substantial time to completing this project independently, in addition to any scheduled teaching in the module. It will be your collective group responsibility to organise this independent study.
Each member of the group will be required to submit their group's slides, or presentation media, including a script of each individual oral presentation identified by name, via the submission point for PR1 on LSST Connect. These must be identical to the copies submitted by
the other group members.
Any secondary sources used should be listed in a Reference List using Harvard.
Learning outcome 1: Demonstrate effective communication skills, applicable to academic and professional contexts.
Learning outcome 2: Work effectively with others in the delivery of a group project
PR1 Task Requirements
• Written work submitted as part of this assignment should be presented in Arial 20, 1.5 line spacing
• Each member of the group is required to submit their group's slides via the submission point for PR1 on LSST CONNECT.
• Group slides that are submitted must be identical for all Group members.
• Any member of the group who amends or changes their slide(s) must notify other members of the Group about such changes.
• Any secondary sources used should be listed in a Reference List using Harvard Referencing System.
You and your Group members are required to assess or focus on the following aspects:
• Communication skills (verbal and written).
• Time management
• Planning.
• Evaluation .
• Reflection - look at factors which are challenging (e.g., always arriving late for lessons); and
• Any other(s).
• Together with your Group members, you need to undertake a
