ASSIGNMENT - Extended essay

Write a 1,500 word Extended Essay answering one of the following questions:

1. "Intelligence is what makes us human, but the increasing use of artificial intelligence will pose potential threats to our society."

To what extent do you agree with this claim? Using existing literature and data, evaluate this claim in relation to 2 of the following areas:

• Economics
• Culture
• Individuals
• Security

Key concepts:

• Strong and weak AI (Artificial technology)
• Convenience
• Human stupidity
• Mass unemployment

Note - The key concepts are important ideas related to the question topic. It is a good idea to investigate these concepts when you start your research; they will help you to understand the topic. You do not have to use all these concepts in your final essay.
