Assessment task: Case Study

You will need to use lecture / workshop materials and wider reading to answer the following tasks/ questions. Your answers should not be more than 6,000 words. You must use the Harvard referencing system and include a bibliography at the end. For the case study report, you will be expected to complete the following tasks. Clearly state assumptions that you make in this report.

Task 1

Explain the purpose of ‘Business Strategy' by critically analysing the concepts of ‘Project Strategy' and examine how to ensure a "Project Strategy" aligns with the "Business Strategy".

Task 2
Examine and apply three different strategy analyses to the case study company in order to achieve competitive advantage. With the outcome of the strategy analyses, determine the project values and discuss how these how these values help to support its strategic business objectives?

Task 3
In the context of the case study organisation project purpose, discuss the importance of project portfolio management in helping to achieve the organisation's core ambition. Illustrate your response with practical examples from the case scenario.

Task 4

Evaluate the effectiveness of the Youth Promise Project in serving different communities by using the vision, values and business strategies in the case study of the case study organisation and discuss how to sustain the projected values of the Youth Promise Project.
