DISCRETE TIME LINEAR SYSTEMS
Course Description
This course presents the discrete time representation of the concepts studied in continuous time linear systems. It is a prerequisite for the study of digital signal processing and digital control systems.
Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are, to:
1. Study the discrete time representation different kinds of fundamental signals used in systems modeling theory and signal processing
2. Study the mathematical description and analysis of discrete time linear systems
3. Describe the discrete time behavior of different systems when excited by the fundamental signals

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate the use of the different discrete time fundamental signals
2. Explain how discrete time linear systems are modeled
3. Analyse discrete time linear systems
