This course introduces the basic theoretical and practical concepts of a database, its setup, implementation, use and maintenance in a typical business organization.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, the student should be:

1. Familiar with the basic concepts of database systems and data modeling.

2. Able to develop relational databases that are secure.

3. Able to formulate queries in databases and to use at least one DBMS.

4. Able to import and export data to and from different applications.
