Visual Communication in Graphic Design
Aim
The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ skills and understanding of how meaning, messages and information can be communicated visually in graphic design products.
Learning outcomes
LO1 Understand the visual communication methods used in graphic design
1.1 Research methods used to communicate meaning, messages and information are communicated effectively in graphic design
1.2 Evaluate communication methods used in graphic design
LO2 Be able to use experimental visual language to communicate meaning, messages and information
2.1 Use traditional and digital media to produce experimental visual communication outcomes
