You need to do the Methodology, Results and Discussion part under the topic: Assessing the performance and system requirements of open-source intrusion detection systems.

The requirements are to download/upload the three open source of intrusion detection system (IDS) which are Snort, Bro and Suricata on differences operating system and set up the rules for capture the high-speed and collect the usage CPU and Memory and finally, compare them which one is work most effectively.

Aims and Objectives

The main goal of the accessing the performance and system requirements of open source intrusion detection systems (IDS) is based upon certain requirements following:

- Find out the overhead introduced by intrusion detection systems (IDS) (CPU, Memory and Functionary)
- Find out more in their performance such as does the download/upload speed change on different operating system.
- Comparison the performance of open sources IDS under the high-speed traffic and find out which open sources IDS does more effectively.
- Analysis the results and comparison the pros and cons between the open sources IDS
