Assignment task
This assignment requires you to create a 3000-word business project plan report for a company, which must be agreed with your module tutor by no later than week 3 of the module. You will not be permitted to use multi-national or large companies for this assignment and will be expected to choose a local, small to medium sized organisation (SME). For the purposes of this project an SME will be defined as a company having a turnover of less than £10 million and less than 50 employees. This project will take account of the nature, scope & impact of innovation, marketing & project management.
The aim of this project is to create a project plan, taking into account the future growth of a business to ensure its long-term success and prosperity whilst critically analysing the state of the current organisation.
Your business project plan must be produced and submitted using Microsoft Word and be in report format, using the template provided on Blackboard and including the sections listed below:
Cover page (including relevant image, module number, name and student number)
Executive summary (not longer than one A4 page)

Introduction to the project and a background of your chosen SME
A critical analysis of the concepts of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and their application in your chosen organisation
A critical evaluation of the key tools and techniques available to the company for transforming ideas into a commercially marketable product or service and a recommendation of which they should use.
Create an integrated digital marketing strategy incorporating appropriate digital technologies, social media technologies and tools to launch the new venture or make improvements to an existing venture.
Summary of project management plans for the initiation, co-ordination and evaluation of your digital marketing strategy.
Conclusion and summary of recommendations.
