The age of AI is characterised by the emergence of a different kind of organisation, structured for a business environment shaped by digital networks, analytics, and artificial intelligence (Karim Lakhani et al, (2020), Competing In The Age of AI, Harvard Business Review Press).
As much as digital has posed a threat to the old guard, and continues to do so, it also presents an endless number of opportunities for companies from traditional industries (Sunil Gupta, 2018, Driving Digital Strategy, Harvard Business Review Press).
