Your group is expected to deliver an in-class presentation (15-20mins) on developing a Strategy, financial plan and break-even budget for a local charity - The Musical Museum. As a group, you are expected to complete the following below,
Part 1. Consolidate the most recent financial statements of the Charity and its trading subsidiary Musical Museum Trading Limited eliminating inter-company transfers and balances.
Part 2. Applying horizontal and vertical trend and ratio analysis to the current and comparative years interpret and discuss the performance of the Charity.
Part 3. Utilising the internal financial analysis report provided prepare a projected operating budget and cash flow statement for the charity assuming no ongoing receipts from legacies.
Part 4. Develop and present a business strategy, financial plan and break-even budget that aims to ensure the financial sustainability of the charities operations on an ongoing basis.
Part 5. Submit a narrated PowerPoint (audio recording) presentation on turnitin (as a zip file if over 25mb) highlighting the key elements of your in-class presentation.
