CIRCUIT THEORY
Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide an elementary introduction to linear circuit theory that is to be used in the analysis of more complex electronic circuits. The course is meant to equip students with the foundational knowledge on the analysis of circuits containing resistors, inductors, capacitors, operational amplifiers and transformers.
Course Objective
The basic objective of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental theory and techniques of analyzing electronic circuits
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students shall be able to:
1. Demonstrate the understanding of the techniques used in the analysis of electric circuits
2. Apply skills in circuit analysis techniques on practical circuits
3. Explain the use of computer aided tools such as P spice in the analysis of electric circuits
