The assessment is focused on analysis of an organisation's procurement strategy and how it is aimed at the overall organisational objective and its green agenda using procurement theory. Students need to critically analyse their selected organisation's procurement strategy and discuss how procurement activities within the selected organisation support corporate strategy and promote sustainability.

The structure of the assignment should be as follows:

• Introduction
• Company background
• Supply chain analysis (Analysis of company's supply network and supplier relationship management
• strategies)
• Analysis of procurement and purchasing concepts/theories
• Analysis of sustainability objectives and their relation to business level strategy
• Recommendations.
