Digital Video Post-production and Editing

Aim

This unit aims to develop learners’ skills in planning, preparing and presenting digital production for the moving image.

Learning outcomes

LO1 Be able to plan and create material

1.1 Plan creative material that is fit for intended purpose

1.2 Demonstrate the ability to produce industry standard imagery consistently

LO2 Be able to digitise material

2.1 Follow guidelines to select and set up appropriate equipment for intended requirements

2.2 Demonstrate understanding of edit suite capabilities to ensure high quality digitised material and optimum compression

3.1 Perform post-production processes creatively to generate broadcast quality editing efficiently

LO4 Be able to export files to meet industry requirements

4.1 Produce exported files to meet industry requirements effectively.
