Further details
The national team is going to a pre-season training camp throughout October (5 weeks total, with one week already completed) leading into the competitive season
However, in 2019, weight limits were brought into the sport to prevent heavier athletes seeming to have an "unfair" advantage
The combined weight of the sled and the athlete with complete race equipment may not exceed 102 Kg
The weight of the sled alone may not exceed 38 Kg
Athlete + sled weighed immediately after competition, following 5 min to remove ice and snow
The minimum possible weight of the sled, clothing/helmet etc. can be brought down by the team's engineers to 28 kg
