Learning Outcomes - To gain experience in interpreting the environment and in producing accurate field notes.
Task - Write an individual report on the geomorphology of the Dartmoor National Park.
Choose two distinctive landscape features in Dartmoor National Park. Find a photograph of each of the two locations on the internet. Make annotated field sketches of these two locations. Scan the sketches into your document and include with them the original photographs (remember to reference the sources).
Taking the two landscapes you have chosen:
- Write a report about these two current landscape features, explaining what makes them distinctive (about 400 words). Include the annotated sketches and
- Explain the processes acting to produce the dominant landforms in Dartmoor National Park (about 1000 words).
Include examples, such as diagrams and maps, to illustrate the report.
For the 400 words You need to have 2 pictures and every picture you need to write 200 words And you need to sketch it and then scan it a put it in the coursework. The information that you need to write about this is

2) Why are they in Dartmoor?
3) What makes them distinctive?
4) Why are they like that?
5) Why don't we find them in many places?
For the 1000 words - You will talk general about Dartmoor national park

1) How landscape formed and what change it overtime, and what changed it now.
2) What cause landscape created or to be changed 3 million years old.
3) What is happening today (vegetation, climate).
4) How was it created and when did it happen.
